EUPHORIA

There are moments, in this wild world,  when, for a split second, everything makes sense.

On a dance floor. In wild nature. In love, laughter, creation. Those rare moments when the boundaries between ourselves and the world seem to disappear and we feel completely, extraordinarily alive.

Euphoria explores that moment of coherence within the chaos. The instant when disparate things connect, when an idea sparks into life, when possibility becomes palpable and, before we can even explain it, somehow we understand.

This exhibition is also an ignition point for The Great Garden of Possibility, an evolving creative ecosystem exploring curiosity, creativity, connection and wonder.

For one brief, euphoric second, it all makes sense.

You can currently view these works at a wonderful shop called Kalk Bay Co-Op in Kalk Bay, Cape Town, South Africa.

For October, all Euphoria canvases include free worldwide shipping. In South Africa, your artwork will arrive stretched and framed. Internationally, it will be carefully rolled and shipped, ready to be stretched and framed locally.

Afrikaburn 2027-2029

Euphoria is the beginning of a much larger artwork. Sales from this exhibition will help fund the first year of a three year, collaborative Great Garden of Possibility project at AfrikaBurn. It will grow through the people who help imagine, make and shape it.

  •  Year One · Seeds of Possibility

Roaming artworks carry the first giant seeds across the playa, inviting people into the story.

  •  Year Two · Growth

The ideas and structures develop through collaboration. Some of what begins in the first two years will find its place in the final garden.

  •  Year Three · Blooming

A garden of enormous flowers takes shape, making humans feel the size of bees. People can be inside and interact withthe flowers.

The Great Garden of Possibility will take shape with the people who join in. Their ideas, stories and creativity will help shape the artwork as it grows.
