Large-Scale Public Rainbow Artworks

2026 is dedicated to the Rainbow, in all its forms, philosophy, science and art. The Rainbow, for Nix, is seen primarily as a bridge for possibility - it's awe and wonder inviting us to venture towards an inspired version of ourselves.

The Rainbow says, 'Anything is possible! - just watch me shine a bright, sparkly, colourful light in the darkness of stormy clouds!'

There are a number of designs Nix is considering; large floating curtains of shimmering cloth supported by helium balloons; sprays of water that create actual rainbows and wooden interactive structures with lights , cloth and swings.
